Returns

We accept returns within 30 days from receipt for any reason. If you’d like to make a return, please call us prior to returning your items so that we can provide you a return authorization number and instructions to process your return. Please see the “Refunds” section below for details.

In the case of defective product or internal order error on our part, we will be happy to exchange your order at no cost to you. If you prefer a refund, we will refund your order in full, but you will be responsible for return shipping to us.

Colors may appear differently on your roof than your screen because of differences in computer screen monitors and a number of other reasons, such as lighting and time of day. Color (unless determined by RoofCoat to be significantly incorrect) is not considered a defect.

Your returned item(s) must be unused, in the same condition they were received, and in the original packaging. We always want to do our best to make things right, so please contact us with any problems.

Refunds

Refund requests must be made within 30 days from receipt of product. 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and the refund amount. Approval is based on the condition and amount of the returned product received. Refund amount will be based on the original purchase amount, less the initial shipping cost of shipping the order to you and a $100 restocking fee. These amounts will be deducted from the refund amount, except in the case of per-approved defect or internal error.

Once your return is received and approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 business days. Our priority is to make you happy. Call us and we will work with you to find a solution. 

Exchanges

Exchange requests must be made within 30 days from receipt of product. 

We can only replace/exchange items if they are defective or if your order is incorrect due to our error.  If there’s a problem, call or send us an email at bob@roofcoat.com and we’ll be happy to get it sorted out quickly and at no cost to you. 

Shipping

Because of the nature of the product, you will need specific directions from us to be able to return your order to us. Please call us for details and a return authorization number.

Shipping costs are non-refundable and non-reimbursable, except in the case of a verified defective product return, as pre-approved by RoofCoat. In all other cases, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs and for returning your product. If a refund is due you, the cost of the original order shipment will be deducted from your refund, as well as a $100 restocking fee. If there was a promotional rate on shipping, or shipping was free or discounted on your order, the cost to RoofCoat for shipping the order to you will be deducted from your refund. We will be happy to let you know what that cost is prior to you initiating a refund request.

Limited Product Warranty:

We, the manufacturer, will replace free of charge any product proved to have a material defect within 10 years of purchase, provided it has been applied in accordance with our written directions for the uses we recommend as suitable for this product. We warrant only that this product is free of defects, as there are many variables that may affect the results obtained from this product, including such things as weather conditions, application practices, equipment used, and prior condition of the roof and substrate, which are all beyond our control. Proof of purchase must be provided. Disclaimer of warranties and Limitation of liability: This limited warranty is in lieu of any other warranties expressed or implied including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or Fitness for a particular purpose. Manufacturer shall have no liability of any kind Beyond product replacement, including for consequential, exemplary or incidental damages resulting from any defects or any delays caused by replacement or otherwise. If purchaser does not accept these terms of Roofcoat’s limited warranty, purchaser May return within 30 days of purchase all containers or packages of product purchased for a full refund, provided the containers or packaging is unopened and in its original condition and less shipping charges if any. Retention of product Beyond 30 days of purchase or use of product shall constitute acceptance of roofcoat’s limited warranty terms, conditions and disclaimers. This limited warranty provides the purchaser’s exclusive remedy for any defect in the product. To the extent that any part of his limited product warranty and liability disclaimer is determined unenforceable under the law of the place of purchase of the product, that part is severed and the remainder of these terms remain in full force and effect. To the extent permitted by law, the duration of any implied warranties is limited to the duration of RoofCoat’s express warranty.
